MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Georgia College Women's Cross Country team gets the new season underway Friday, Aug. 31 looking to build upon rewriting the record books over the last few years.

The post-Katherine Yost era begins Friday, Aug. 31 at the VSU XC Border Clash. Replacing the impact of the top runner in program history won't be easy, but the Bobcats have the depth this season to potentially do just that.

Sarah Wilder (Tifton) and Rachel Boulineau (Canton) are the seniors on the 2018 roster, Wilder having seen action in 11 races over the course of her four seasons, and Boulineau having transferred in from Young Harris College last season.

Junior Grace Lynch (Snellville) and sophomores Tessa Allen (Atlanta) and Sydney Brown (Canton) will be counted upon to lead the squad, as this trio shared the 2-3-4 finishes on the team for the majority of last season. Should each of these talented runners improve, the Bobcats will be looking at another strong season.
