ALBANY, Ga. | The Georgia College & State University men's golf team wrapped up their fall season Tuesday (Oct. 17) afternoon at the Hurricane Invitational hosted by Georgia Southwestern State University.

The Bobcats shot a 321 in the final round on the par 72, 7,024-yard layout on Doublegate Country Club course to finish the 54-hole event at 958. The host Hurricanes won the tournament with an 867 tally, three strokes better than Lee University.

Austin Quillian finished in a tie for 70th place to lead GCSU with a score of 236 after an 80 in the final round. Jacob Speece shot an 81 and finished in 77th, while Chase Blanton was 78th at 242 after signing for an 82. Billy Goddard shot an 83 and came in 79th place at 244, while Ty Darsey had the low round of the day for the Bobcats with a 78 and finished in 80th.

Georgia College returns to action Feb. 5 when they travel to Lakeland, Florida, when they will compete at the Matlock Collegiate Classic.
