VALDOSTA, Ga. | The Georgia College & State University men's golf team opened up play at the 2024 Southeastern Collegiate hosted by Valdosta State University Monday (March 11).
The Bobcats posted round of 312 and 308 on the par 72, 7,421-yard layout at the Kinderlou Forest Golf Club to stand in 17th place at 620 after 36 holes.
Chase Blanton is the top GCSU golfer in the field as he is tied for 65th place at 151 after rounds of 75 and 76, while
Austin Quillian is tied for 75th at 152 after posting back-to-back rounds of 76.
Billy Goddard had scorecards of 81 and 77 and is tied for 85th at 158, while
Max Sheppard carded rounds of 80 and 79 and is in 88th place.
Matthew Rogers is a stroke back at 160 and in 89th place after firing scores of 81 and 79.
The 54-hole event concludes with a 9 a.m. shotgun start Tuesday (March 12).
