Bobcats wrap up fall season at Mercer Gridiron Classic

MACON, Ga. | The Georgia College & State University men's and women's tennis teams wrapped up their 2025 fall seasons this past weekend (Oct. 3-5) at the Mercer Gridiron Classic.

The Bobcats had three six women and three men competing in both singles and doubles.

Laura Almagro and Natalie Kirka advanced to the finals of the women's Flight B doubles draw. The duo won three matches before falling to Georgia State University's team of Maria Paredes and Zeynep Erbakan in the finals in a tiebreaker 7-6 (3).

Jakob Andergassen, on the men's side, won two singles matches in his flight.
