Rain impacts weekend schedules

.MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. | Due to the rain in the region this weekend, the following changes have been made for Georgia College & State University athletics events:

Softball
  • Friday's (Feb. 20) softball doubleheader between Emmanuel (Ga.) University and Georgia Southwestern State University has been pushed back an hour to a 3 p.m. start.
  • Saturday's (Feb. 21) softball doubleheader between GCSU and Emmanuel has been postponed. A reschedule date has not been announced.
Women's Tennis
  • Friday's (Feb. 20) women's tennis match against Clark Atlanta University has been pushed back to a 3:30 p.m. start at the Centennial Center Tennis Courts. Due to the chance of a lingering shower, we will not have a live video stream, but there will be a live scoring link.
Baseball
  • Friday's (Feb. 20) baseball game against Georgia Southwestern State has been moved up an hour to a 5 p.m. start in Americus, Georgia.
  • Saturday's (Feb. 21) game against the Hurricanes has been moved up two hours to a noon start.
