in No. 24 Georgia College & State University's (22-5) 81-76
Peach Belt Conference (PBC) Tournament Quarterfinal win over North
Georgia (15-12) in USC Aiken's Convocation Center.

Tim Jones tallied 35 against Albany State
University Nov. 30, 1995. Keaton also hit six threes, moving into
sixth place in PBC history with 238 treys in his career.
In a back-and-forth affair featuring a whopping 17 lead changes,
the Bobcats prevailed from the free-throw line, going 24-of-28
(.857) compared to North Georgia's 8-for-12 (.667). Georgia College

Ga.) added 11 with a game-high seven rebounds. Rounding
out the double-digit scorers for GCSU was junior Ty Rowland

North Georgia's LaBrian Lyons led his team with 24 points, seven
boards and six assists. Andre Morgan knocked down 14 with Anthony
Rowe getting 13 and Xavier Trice 12.
The Bobcats have yet to lose to North Georgia since they joined
the PBC, going 8-0. PBC Coach of the Year Terry
Sellers is also 14-1 all-time against the Saints.
Keaton was also 12-for-13 from the line, giving him 295 in his
career, passing Aaron Clark (2004-08) into third
place in GCSU history. The 22 team wins ranks seventh in school
history. The 1999-2000 squad was the most recent to eclipse that
number, compiling 25 victories en route to a NCAA Elite Eight
berth.
Georgia College is now 17-14 all-time in the PBC tourney, and
will face top seed and national No. 5 Augusta State University
tomorrow at 6 p.m. The Bobcats split regular-season play with ASU.
