Box Score SAVANNAH, Ga. – The Georgia College volleyball team (10-14, 4-11 PBC) fell in three sets at Armstrong State University (14-8, 10-4 PBC) Saturday, 25-21, 25-18, 25-15.
The Bobcats had trouble getting their offense started, as no single player had more than five kills today.
Freshman Kayla Brockway (Jacksonville, Florida) had 14 assists. Caroline Long (Roswell) and Katie Ray (Cumming) shared the team lead with 10 digs apiece. Long led the team in points with seven, tallying five kills, a pair of blocks and an ace.
The loss puts Georgia College at 4-11 in Peach Belt Conference (PBC) play, good for eighth in the league standings. The top eight squads advance to the PBC Tournament Nov. 17.
The Bobcats are back in action Friday, Nov. 6 at 7 p.m., playing host to Francis Marion University.
