ATLANTA, Ga. – The Georgia College men's basketball team (4-1) had perhaps its most balanced scoring effort of the young season, topping Clark Atlanta University (0-4) 83-74 Monday on the road.

Senior guard Terrell Harris (Indiantown, Florida) led all scorers with 22 points and has now eclipsed the 20-point plateau in all five games this season. Harris added four boards and four assists.  

Classmates Ryan Blumenthal (Acworth) and Dwight Anderson (Minneapolis, Minnesota) had 15 points each. Blumenthal added four boards, two assists and two steals, while Anderson put up a game-high seven assists and four rebounds.

Freshman Chaz Berry (Fayetteville) added 11 points off the bench, hitting 5-for-9 from the floor. Rookie forward Isaac Thomas (Trion) posted eight points to go with a game-high 11 rebounds.

The Bobcats were out-shot 44 percent (28-64) to 43 percent (29-68) from the field, but the Bobcats hit seven more from long range (10-7) and won the battle of turnovers 14-7. Lawrance Freeman and Cornell Barnett led the Panthers, each posting a 14-point, 10-rebound double-double.

Georgia College took the lead for good at the 2:29 mark of the first half on a layup by Anderson after a Thomas steal.

The Bobcats are back in action Saturday, Nov. 28 at 7:30 p.m., traveling to Albany State University. Georgia College will look for a measure of revenge, as the Golden Rams have handed the Bobcats their lone loss this season.
