MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Georgia College men's basketball team (6-2) got a season-high scoring total in beating Clark Atlanta University (0-6) 92-79 Thursday night at the Centennial Center.

The Bobcats blistered the net for 64 percent shooting (37-58), including 44 percent from long range (8-18). The last time the Bobcats shot this well was another 37-for-58 performance in a 95-64 victory at Francis Marion University back on Feb. 17, 2007.

Seniors Terrell Harris (Indiantown, Florida) and Dwight Anderson (Minneapolis, Minnesota) led the charge, Harris scoring 22 while Anderson poured in 21. Harris added a team-high six assists and pulled in six rebounds. Anderson powered the offense in the first half, netting 16 of his 21 in the first frame.

Freshman Isaac Thomas (Trion) posted his first career double-double, scoring 11 points to go with 13 rebounds and an impressive five assists. Classmate Chaz Berry (Fayetteville) once again led the bench patrol with 14 points, adding three rebounds and three helps. Sophomore Mark McCorkle (Cumming) provided a bench spark as well, hitting all three of his shot attempts, including a pair from long range for eight points.

Clark Atlanta shot a respectable 43 percent from the floor (30-70) and the Bobcats won the rebounding battle 39-30. The Panthers trailed by as much as 29 after the first points of the second half, but the Bobcats had 14 of their 18 turnovers after the halftime break, allowing CAU to make it a more respectable finish.

A slash to the hole by Harris on the first possession netted the game's first points, and the Bobcats never trailed. A 20-4 run mid-way through the first half helped the Bobcats get out to a comfortable lead.

Harris' 22 points gives the senior 1,114 in his career at Georgia College, moving into 12th place in school history, passing Larry Anderson (1971-75) in tonight's action. The No. 11 slot is owned by former All-Region player Tim Jones (1995-97) at 1,130. Harris also posted his 54th career double-digit scoring game tonight, passing Jones into 10th place in school history.

The Bobcats are back in action Saturday, Dec. 12 at 7 p.m., traveling to Morehouse College.
