YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. – Down 7-3 into the last inning, the Georgia College baseball team (26-15, 12-10 PBC) posted an epic nine-run rally to win at Young Harris College (14-29, 8-19 PBC) 12-7 Thursday night.

The Bobcats put nine runs across on eight hits and three walks in the inning. The go-ahead run came in on a three-run home run from second baseman Dylan Cook (Portola Valley, California). First baseman Clay Ardeeser (Loganville) added three RBIs of his own on a pair of singles in the frame.

Righty Chris Gammon (Chandler, Arizona) entered in the bottom of the ninth, striking out the side to complete the comeback.

Cook finished 4-for-6 with four RBIs and a run, Ardeeser adding a 4-for-4 day with four driven in and three runs scored. Rightfielder Jake Sandlin (Evans) had two hits in five trips, scoring three times and driving in another.

Reliever Kyle Ward (Rincon) picked up the win in 2/3 of an inning of work, improving to 2-1.

The Bobcats and Mountain Lions complete the three-game set tomorrow, April 24 at 1 p.m. in doubleheader action.
