Box Score AIKEN, S.C. – The Georgia College volleyball team (6-5, 2-2 PBC) dropped three sets at USC Aiken (9-2, 2-2 PBC) Saturday afternoon. The Pacers took all three by scores of 25-9, 25-12 and 25-16.
"We are learning just how difficult it is to play on the road," said head coach Gretchen Krumdieck. "We need to get back to playing our style of volleyball and that will be our focus this week."
The Bobcat offense had trouble getting started, posting a season-low .041 hitting percentage.
Freshman Taylor Svehla (Cumming, Georgia) led Georgia College with seven kills. Classmate Kayla Brockway (Jacksonville, Florida) led the team in both assists and digs, posting 18 and seven, respectively.
The Bobcats look to get back to their winning ways Tuesday, Sept. 29 at 6 p.m., playing host to Armstrong State University.
