Box Score MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Georgia College Men's Basketball team's (9-3, 2-1 PBC) quest to become the first 10-win team in the Peach Belt Conference (PBC) came up empty on the first try, instead falling 78-67 to the University of North Georgia (4-8, 2-1 PBC) at the Centennial Center Saturday.
The Bobcats came out like a house afire, scoring on their first three possessions. In the back-and-forth affair neither team gained a double-digit advantage in the first half, as UNG was up 39-37 at the break.
Georgia College hit a cold stretch, not netting a field goal for a 6:29 stretch in the second half, allowing the Nighthawks to take over the game.
Senior Terrell Harris (Indiantown, Florida) led all scorers with 22 points, hitting 10-for-12 from the free-throw line. He added eight rebounds and five assists for a balanced game. The game marked Harris' 11th 20-point game this season, and the 58th in his Bobcat career.

The Bobcats struggled to find the bottom of the net, shooting just 33 percent (22-66) to 45 percent (27-60) for the Nighthawks. The shooting effort was Georgia College's second lowest of the season after shooting 31 percent at Albany State University in a November loss.
