MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – In a match as tight as any they'll play this season, the Georgia College Volleyball team (9-8, 2-3 PBC) fell in a four-set duel with Peach Belt Conference (PBC) leader USC Aiken (14-2, 4-0 PBC) Friday night at the Centennial Center.

The four sets were decided by a total of 14 points. The Pacers took set one 26-24, then the Bobcats evened things out after a 25-23 effort in the second. The final two went USCA's way, 25-17 and 27-25.

The Bobcats put two attackers in double-digit kills, led by 15 from senior Taylor Svehla (Cumming). Sophomore Libby Bochniak (Marietta) continued her tear of late by putting 14 on the floor, giving her five-straight matches with double-digit kills.

Senior Kayla Brockway (Jacksonville, Florida) had 44 assists with 17 digs for a double-double, adding five blocks to the cause. Sophomore Jordyn Moellering (Cumming) led the way with 24 digs, as five tallied in the double-digits. Joining Moellering and Brockway were freshman Lauren Talele (Woodstock) with 15, junior Nicole Cohen (Atlanta) with 14 and Bochniak with 22.

In tonight's matchup, Bochniak moved into the school's top-five in career kills, passing Maggie Roper (2016). Bochniak now has 455 kills in her two seasons. Brockway moved to third in PBC history in assists, passing the University of Montevallo's Anna Garrison. The Bobcat senior now has 3,773 assists in her stellar Georgia College career.
