Box Score MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – Four pitchers combined for a shutout, and the No. 22 Georgia College Baseball team (2-0) kept rolling with an impressive 7-0 win over North Greenville University (1-1) Saturday at John Kurtz Field.
The third inning would prove to be all the Bobcats would need, plating six runs in the frame to set the tone. The first three runs came in on five singles and a pair of fielder's choice grounders. Designated hitter Caleb Slaughter (Cochran) drove home the final run with a single of his own.
Righty Matt Studdard (Conyers) had four scoreless innings, fanning three and allowing four hits with no walks. The scoreless fifth came from junior Logan Howard (Cumming), adding a strikeout.
