LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Georgia College Softball team claimed their top spot of the year in this week's NFCA Division II Top 25 Coaches Poll. The Bobcats climbed five slots from last week's poll from No. 25 to No. 20. The team is joined by No. 1, the University of North Georgia as the only two Peach Belt Conference (PBC) teams to make the poll.

The 2018 NFCA Division II Top 25 Poll is voted on by 16 NCAA Division II head coaches with two representing each of the eight NCAA regions. Records reflect games played through April 22.

The Bobcats are 33-11 overall and 14-2 in conference play, with their only conference losses to Young Harris College and Lander University.

The Bobcats are in action today, Wednesday, April 25 at 4 p.m. as they travel to North Georgia.
