ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – The Georgia College Volleyball team (5-6, 0-1 PBC) stumbled in its first Peach Belt Conference (PBC) match of the season, dropping a three-setter at Flagler College (9-6, 2-2 PBC) Saturday.

The Saints took the three sets 25-17, 25-18 and 25-21.

Senior Emily Crowell (Horseheads, New York) was the lone Bobcat attacker in double-digit kills with 10. Libby Bochniak (Marietta, Georgia) added nine and Sarah Stewart (Savannah, Georgia) eight.

Sophomore setter Lauren Talele (Woodstock, Georgia) had a near double-double with 24 assists and nine digs. Junior Jordyn Moellering (Cumming, Georgia) led the defense with 12 digs, flanked by 10 from senior Nicole Cohen (Atlanta, Georgia).

The second set was the best attacking effort for the Bobcats, hitting .211 on 12 kills, led by five from Crowell.

The Bobcats are back in action Friday, Oct. 11 at the PBC/SAC Crossover at Carson-Newman University. GC Volleyball takes on the host squad at 1 p.m. and adds a match with Lincoln Memorial University at 5 p.m.
