In game one, the Bobcats rattled off 10 runs on 15 hits, including six extra-base knocks.
The Bobcats scored two in the first and five more in the second to jump in front to stay. Junior Hunter Hice (Adairsville) ripped a solo blast in the second, his first home run as a Bobcat. Centerfielder Cam Hill (Marietta) had run-scoring singles in each of the first two frames.
The Jaguars back late, picking up a big six-run eighth to cut the lead to 9-7 at the time, but the Bobcats held off the threat.
Hill finished the game 3-for-4 with three RBIs and two runs, as each of the first four batters had multi-hit performances. Catcher Austin Holloway (Social Circle) had two hits and two runs, while second baseman Cal Gentry (Perry) and shortstop Cassius Young (Atlanta) had two hits each.
Leftfielder Paul Grazzini (Marietta) drove three runs as part of a 2-for-4 effort. Rightfielder Jay Saunders (Moultrie) scored twice and also had two hits.
