CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Georgia College Volleyball squad (6-12) dropped a three-set matchup at Queens University (8-6) Tuesday afternoon.
The Royals took the three sets by 25-16, 25-17 and 25-20 scores.
Reigning Peach Belt Conference (PBC) Player of the Week Sarah Stewart (Savannah, Georgia) was at it again with an 11-kill, 10-dig double-double. She was aided by eight kills from senior Sarah Mangan (Farmingville, New York).
Senior Lauren Talele (Woodstock, Georgia) tallied 26 assists, while sophomore libero Bella DeSalvo (Hamilton, Ohio) led the squad with 13 digs. The Royals were able to avoid the GC front-line blocking that had been such a strength over the last couple of weeks, as the Bobcats had just three team blocks today, the fewest in 10 matches.
The Bobcats are back in action Thursday, Oct. 7 at 7 p.m., traveling to Emmanuel College.
