MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Georgia College Men's Basketball team (9-1, 2-0 PBC) used a huge second half to beat Young Harris College (3-6, 0-1 PBC) 89-65 Wednesday at the Centennial Center, with senior guard Jordan Thomas (Conyers) moving to No. 2 on the all-time scoring list at GC.

Thomas had a game-high 25 points, giving the senior 1,911 in his career, passing GC Hall of Famer Leonard Scott (1979) for second in school history in today's action. Thomas is now just a single point behind all-time leader and GC Hall of Famer Robert Williams (1977).

The Bobcats out-scored YHC 50-25 in the second half, shooting 56 percent (18-32) from the field and 53 percent (11-21) from long range. Thomas led the second-half comeback, scoring 18 of his 25 in the second half. He also finished with six rebounds, five assists and five steals.

Freshman Zyair Greene (Lithonia) came off the bench with 17 points, hitting 4-for-8 from three-point range. Junior forward Christian Koneman (Chatsworth) added a 15-point, 11-rebound double-double from the bench as well.

The Bobcats did a great job finding the open man, tallying 22 assists, compared to just six for the Mountain Lions. GC also had a 45-9 advantage in bench scoring.

GC now extends its win streak to seven in a row. The Bobcats are also now 3-0 at home this season.
