TIGERVILLE, S.C.- Georgia College & State University Men's Basketball (1-0) picked up an 85-76 season opening win over North Greenville University (0-1), Friday afternoon. 

The Bobcat offense started the season hot with three players netting double digit points. Richard Crawford III (Evans, Georgia) led the shooting efforts banking 16 total points. Crawford also led the team in assists with four. Luke Chism (Dawsonville, Georgia) was right behind him knocking down 15 points going 6-for-8 from field goal range and 2-for-3 from the three point line. Rounding out the double digit scoring was Brandon Thomas (McDonough, Georgia) with 10 points. 

GCSU did a great job of keeping the ball in their hands as they nabbed 33 rebounds. There were two different Bobcats with five rebounds with six of those 10 coming under the NGU basket. Thomas and Christian Koneman (Chatsworth, Georgia) both had five and Koneman tied the squad best of two blocked shots. 

The Bobcats will continue the North Greenville Classic tomorrow Saturday, Nov. 12 at 4:00 p.m. They will take on Limestone University with live stats and broadcast links available at GCBobcats.com.
