ANDERSON, S.C.- Georgia College & State University (4-3) took down Anderson University (2-6), 68-59 after a big second half, Saturday. 

GCSU trailed 31-30 going into the half time. Coming out of the half the Bobcats heated up shooting 44.4% from field goal range and out scoring the Trojans 38-28. The blue and green had three double digit scoring in Luke Chism (Dawsonville, Georgia), Chapin Rierson (Calhoun, Georgia) and Brandon Thomas (McDonough, Georgia). Chism led the scoring with 13 points going 6-for-11 from field goal range. Rierson and Thomas both banked 11 points with Rierson going 3-for-5 from behind the arc and 4-for-6 from field goal range. 

Chism also led the rebounding effort with seven with five coming under the defensive basket. He also added to his already impressive performance two blocked shots.  The second leading rebounders were Rierson and Christian Koneman (Chatsworth, Georgia) with six. Both Rierson and Koneman had five rebounds under the Trojan Basket. 

The Bobcats are back in action Saturday Dec. 10 on the road at Young Harris College to kick off conference play. Tip-off is set for 3:30 p.m. with live stats and broadcast links available at GCBobcats.com.
