MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Georgia College Baseball team (9-6) saw its five-game win streak halted Wednesday against a hot Lenoir-Rhyne University (17-1) team, 14-5 at John Kurtz Field.

The game was close until the middle innings. GC took a 4-0 lead after two, then fell behind 5-4, tying the game in the bottom of the fourth. LR took a lead in the sixth on an unearned run, then used a six-run eighth to pull away.

Rightfielder Paul Grazzini (Marietta) went 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run. Designated hitter Brandon Bellflower (Milledgeville) tagged a home run for the second-straight game, ripping a solo shot in the second. It was the second home run for the sophomore this season, and the fourth of his career. Leftfielder Baylin Moore (Albany) drove in a pair with a double in the first.

Lefty reliever Bryce Bowen (Bowman) took the loss (0-1), allowing an unearned run in the sixth.

The Bobcats are back in action Saturday, March 5 at 1 p.m., playing host to No. 26 Young Harris College in doubleheader action.
