AIKEN, S.C. – The Georgia College Baseball team (15-9, 6-3 PBC) was firing on all cylinders Sunday, finishing off a Peach Belt Conference (PBC) series sweep at USC Aiken (10-15, 3-6 PBC) with a 13-0 victory.

The game was shortened to seven innings by run-rule. Righty starter Brennan Crooms (Metter, Georgia) dazzled for six of those frames, fanning four, walking none and scattering four hits. Crooms (2-2) allowed just a single extra-base knock, a double in the sixth. Lefty Jacob Hester (Marietta, Georgia) finished off the final inning without a threat.

First baseman Brandon Bellflower (Milledgeville, Georgia) continued his tear, going 3-for-5 with a double, four RBIs and a run. Centerfielder Cam Hill (Marietta, Georgia) was 3-for-4 with a pair of doubles and four runs scored. Third baseman Palmer Sapp (Dawsonville, Georgia) finished 2-for-3 with a pair of runs and another driven in, while rightfielder Paul Grazzini (Marietta, Georgia) posted a 3-for-6 day with three runs scored and a steal. Catcher Sam Sly (Atlanta, Georgia) joined in the hit parade with two in five trips, driving in two runs.

The Bobcats pushed away late, getting eight runs over the sixth and seventh innings combined to push into run-rule territory.

The Bobcats put a six-game win streak on the line Tuesday, March 22, hosting Southern Wesleyan University at 3 p.m.
