MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga.- Georgia College & State University Men's Basketball (9-17, 5-12 PBC) puts up 101 points on Flagler College (12-16, 6-11 PBC) for a senior night victory, Saturday night.

Before the men's contest GCSU Athletics honors three seniors in Christian Koneman (Chatsworth), Chris Parks (Buford), and Brandon Thomas (McDonough)

The Bobcats quickly put up eight straight points to counter the Saint's tip-off three-point bucket. The game was heavy on offense as baskets fell left and right with each squad going on several-point runs. GCSU went on a 15-8 run early in the first half. The crowd got into the senior night contest as redshirt senior Chapin Rierson (Calhoun) iced a buzzer-beater half-court shot to take the Bobcats into the half leading 48-43. GCSU continued to stay hot in the second half almost shooting 50% from behind the arc. The Bobcats netted more than 100 points for the first time since Dec. 3, 2009, against Carver Bible College. A full circle moment for head coach Ryan Aquino as in the contest in 2009 he entered the game corralling nine rebounds to lead the team.

In the Saturday night contest, the Bobcats had five double-digit scorers. Richard Crawford III (Evans) led the offense with his season-high of 26 points. Crawford highlighted his game by going 5-for-8 from behind the arc while going 5-for-6 from the free-throw line. Rierson was the squads second leading scorer with 18 points good for his season high. He had an outstanding game going 7-for-11 from the floor including 4-for-7 from three-point range. Austin Sloan (Warner Robins) and Brendan Rigsbee (Suwanee) were the team's third and fourth-leading scorers with 15 and 14 points respectively. Sloan went 50% from field goal including three, three-point buckets. Rigsbee netted four field goals and went a perfect 6-for-6 from the free-throw line. Koneman rounded out the double-digit scoring with 13 points. He shot for 50% from the floor while adding a 4-for-5 performance from the free-throw stripe.

Koneman and Sloan led the team in rebounding picking up seven apiece. Both also nabbed six under the Saint's basket. To round out the majority of the rebounds four players nabbed four rebounds.
