TUCSON, Ariz.- Georgia College & State University Men's Tennis received multiple region rankings in the final Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) list of the season.
The Bobcats concluded the 2023 spring season with an 8-10 record and a 2-4 conference record good for the No. 7 team in the southeast region.
The ITA also announced individual region rankings where GCSU picked up two. Gabe Cizek (Prague, Czech Republic) earned the No. 16 player ranking with his 8-9 overall season record. Karol Malirz (Marbella, Spain) was named the No. 18 player in the region after finishing with an 11-6 season record.
To round out the region rankings for the Bobcats Cizek and Luka Sauer Jimenez (Nyon, Switzerland) picked up the No. 7 doubles team ranking with a 5-8 season finish.
Regional Rankings consist of the Top 10 Team Rankings, Top 20 Singles Rankings, and Top 10 Doubles Rankings.
