MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. | The University of South Carolina-Aiken rallied for a four-set Peach Belt Conference volleyball victory over Georgia College & State University Friday (Oct. 4) evening at the Centennial Center.
GCSU won the opening set 26-24 before USC Aiken claimed the final three sets 25-22, 25-21 and 25-15. The match featured 25 ties and 14 lead changes.
The Pacers improved to 8-2 overall and to 1-0 in the PBC, while the Bobcats fell to 7-7 and 0-2. The two teams meet up in a non-conference match Wednesday (Oct. 9) at 6 p.m. in Aiken, South Carolina.
Camryn Carlton led the Bobcats with 13 kills, while
Sarah Pipping finished in double figures with 11.
Rosa Fisher added nine kills.
Sadie Parkerson recorded 21 assists, while
Riese Johnson posted 18 more.
Alanis Bernis collected 15 digs, while
Hayley Shepherd had five total blocks. Pipping contributed four total blocks.
