AUGUSTA, Ga. | Augusta University eliminated Georgia College & State University from the Peach Belt Conference Volleyball Tournament Tuesday (Nov. 19) evening with a 25-7, 25-20, 10-25 first round victory at the Christenberry Fieldhouse.
The No. 4-seeded Jaguars improved to 19-6 with their fourth win over the season over No. 5 seed GCSU, which ended its season at 8-21. Augusta advances to Friday's (Nov. 22) 4:30 p.m. semifinal match against top seed Lander University in Greenwood, South Carolina.
Camryn Carlton led Georgia College with five kills, while
Sierra Piland had four.
Sadie Parkerson collected seven assists, while
Riese Johnson tallied four.
Alanis Bernis (12) and Johnson (10) each posted double figure digs.
Nya Warren had four total blocks and
Sarah Pipping had two.
