GREENWOOD, S.C. | Lander University picked up a 25-12, 25-16, 22-25, and 25-20 Peach Belt Conference volleyball victory over Georgia College & State University Friday (Nov. 8) evening at the Finis Horne Arena.
The Bearcats improved to 18-4 overall and remained in first place in the PBC with a 5-1 ledger, while the Bobcats fell to 8-18 and 0-7. GCSU returns to action Saturday (Nov. 9) with a 3 p.m. PBC contest against Augusta University in the Centennial Center. The Bobcats will recognize their three seniors prior to the match.
Sarah Pipping led GCSU with 10 kills, while
Camryn Carlton and
Rosa Fisher collected seven apiece.
Brooke Roberts tallied seven total blocks, while Carlton and
Nya Warren had four each.
Riese Johnson and
Sadie Parkerson each recorded double figures in assists. Johnson posted 14 while  Parkerson distributed 13 more.
Alanis Bernis corralled 21 digs, while Parkerson had 10.
