MARTINEZ, Ga.- Stephanie Condland of Georgia College & State University Softball slugged her way to the first Peach Belt Conference Player of the Week award of her career. She also was tabbed as Zaxby's Player of the Week.
The Bobcats played in three conference contests last week against Augusta University. Condland got the start as the designated hitter in all three games. She had a star-studded weekend going 6-for-9 driving in six RBI and scoring two runs on a pair of doubles and a home run.
Condland highlighted the weekend in games two and three of the series with back-to-back perfect performances. In the five-inning run rule victory she went 3-for-3 with three RBI and a run scored on two doubles and a single. The third game of the series also yielded a plethora of success for Condland as she batted in three runs and came around to score on a 2-for-2 performance. This included a home run, a single and a pair of walks.
