Bobcats move into ABCA Division II Coaches Poll at No. 28

GREENSBORO, N.C. | The Georgia College & State University baseball team cracked the American Baseball Coaches Association NCAA Division II Top 25 poll at No. 28.

Baseball is the fourth GCSU program to be nationally ranked this season, joining men's basketball, women's tennis and men's tennis. 

The Bobcats are one of two Peach Belt Conference teams in the poll as Georgia Southwestern State University is ranked No. 30. GCSU is 23-13 overall and in first place in the PBC with a 14-4 mark,

GCSU returns to action Wednesday (April 10) when they travel to Albany, Georgia, for a 4 p.m. non-conference game against Albany State University. ASU (25-8) is one of the teams receiving votes in this week's poll.

The ABCA poll is for publicity purposes only and is not used in the selection process for the NCAA Division II postseason.
