MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. | The Georgia College & State University volleyball team ran their winning streak to three with a 25-14, 25-14 and 25-18 sweep over Erskine College Tuesday (Sept. 24) evening at the Centennial Center.
GCSU improved to 6-5, while the Flying Fleet fell to 4-7. The Bobcats continue their four-match homestand Friday (Sept. 27) with a 5:30 p.m. match against Shorter University to start Family Weekend.
The Bobcats hit .355 as a team as they had 39 kills on 93 swings and just six errors, while Erskine hit -.023.
Camryn Carlton hit .529 as she collected 10 kills on 17 swings with just one error.
Sarah Pipping added nine kills, while
Rosa Fisher had six.
Sadie Parkerson led GCSU with 17 assists, while
Lexi Baum distributed 14.
Alanis Bernis had 11 digs, while Pipping had seven and Baum tallied six.
Cadence Spilotros led with three total blocks, while Pipping,
Nya Warren and
Brooke Roberts each had two.
