MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. | The Georgia College & State University women's volleyball team dropped their Peach Belt Conference opener against Flagler College 25-20, 25-17 and 25-21 Sunday (Sept. 29) afternoon at the Centennial Center.
The Bobcats saw their three-match winning streak snapped as they fell to 6-6 overall and to 1-0 in the PBC, while the Saints improved to 5-6 and 1-0. GCSU will host Clark Atlanta University in a 6 p.m. non-conference match Wednesday (Oct. 2) before setting off on an 11-match road swing.
Sarah Pipping and
Camryn Carlton each led GCSU with six kills, while
Cadence Spilotros added four.
Sadie Parkerson tallied 11 assists, while
Lexi Baum added seven.
Alanis Bernis posted 11 digs, while
Ella Harper and Pipping collected nine apiece.
Brooke Roberts had two total blocks for the Bobcats.
