ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. | The 2025 campaign came to a close for the Georgia College & State University women's volleyball team Saturday (Nov. 22) afternoon in the semifinals of the Peach Belt Conference Tournament being played at Flagler Gymnasium.
GCSU, which was seeded fifth in the tournament, fell 25-17, 25-22 and 25-22 to tournament hosts and No 1 seed Flagler College. The Bobcats finished the season at 16-16, marking their first winning campaign since the 2018 season when GCSU won 17 games.
Lexi Polychrones led GCSU with seven kills, while
Kaylee Weeks had six and
Camryn Carlton posted five more.
Sadie Parkerson tallied 13 assists while
Riese Johnson distributed 10 more.
Alanis Bernis collected 21 digs, while Johnson and Weeks had 10 apiece. Carlton,
Nya Warren and
Emersyn Mullvain each had two total blocks for GCSU.
