SALISBURY, N.C. | Georgia College & State University right-handed pitcher Bradley Wilson has been named the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association Southeast Region Pitcher of the Week ending Sunday (March 23).

Wilson, a senior from Irwinton, Georgia, pitched eight shutout innings in an 8-0 win over Flagler College Saturday (March 22), scattering eight hits with two walks while striking out two. He retired the first five batters he faced in order in addition to retiring the side in order in the sixth.

The Bobcats return to action Friday (March 28) when they open up a Peach Belt Conference series Friday (March 28) against Claflin University at 6 p.m. in Orangeburg, South Carolina.
