GREENWOOD, S.C. | The Georgia College & State University women's tennis team recorded a 6-1 non-conference victory over North Greenville University Thursday (March 6) afternoon at the Joe Cabri Tennis Center on the Lander University campus.
The Bobcats improved to 6-1, while the Trailblazers slipped to 2-6. GCSU was to have played Auburn University at Montgomery Sunday (March 9), but that match has been postponed and will be rescheduled. The Bobcats will open Peach Belt Conference against Wednesday (March 12) against Georgia Southwestern State University in Americus, Georgia, at 3 p.m.
GCSU won the doubles point as the Bobcats only dropped one game. The Bobcats then captured the top five flights of singles to clinch the match.
