Bestermann, Phillips lead GCSU past Columbus State 12-2 in series finale

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. | Rand Bestermann and Carson Phillips each drove in three runs as Georgia College & State University recorded a 12-2 Peach Belt Conferece baseball victory in seven innings over Columbus State University Saturday (April 19) aftermoon at John Kurtz Field.

The Bobcats snapped their two-game losing streak to improve to 27-19 overall and to 18-6 in the PBC, while the Cougars fell to 24-20 and 14-10.
