Bradley Wilson named to CSC Academic All-America® team

GREENWOOD, Ind. | Georgia College & State University pitcher Bradley Wilson has been named to the NCAA Division II Academic All-America® Baseball Third Team selected by College Sports Communicators.

Wilson, a senior right-handed pitcher from Irwinton, Georgia, is the third Bobcat in program history named to the prestigious team, joining Logan Mattix (2018, second team) and Clayten Ayres (2017, second team). Wilson is the first GCSU student-athlete named to an Academic All-America® team since softball's Amber Coy was named to the third team in 2020. He his now the 19th Bobcat overall named to an Academic All-America® team.

Wilson went 9-2 this season with a 2.50 earned-run average. Wilson, who was named the Peach Belt Conference Pitcher of the Year as well as being named to the All-PBC first team, finished 2025 ranked 24th in NCAA Division II statistics in ERA, 33rd in wins, and 61st in games started (14). Wilson led the conference in ERA, third in wins and sixth in games started. Wilson was even more impressive in conference games during the regular season, lowering his ERA to 1.35 and going 8-0 against league opponents. Named the PBC Pitcher of the Week twice during the season, Wilson threw two complete games and was a part of two shutouts. Wilson was named to three all-region teams this season. He was named to the first team by the American Baseball Coaches Association and the Division II Conference Commissioners Association, and the second team by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association.

Wilson, who graduated from GCSU in May with a 3.85 cumulative grade-point average as a psychology and world languages and cultures (Spanish concentration) double major with a minor in Spanish language and culture, has been named to the PBC Presidential Honor Roll and the PBC Baseball Team of Academic Distinction as well as receiving the D2 ADA Academic Achievement Award.
