DAHLONEGA, Ga. | A.J. White scored 21 points to lead the University of North Georgia past Georgia College & State University 86-57 in a Peach Belt Conference men's basketball game Wednesday (Jan. 7) evening at the Lynn Cottrell Arena at the UNG Convocation Center.

The Nighthawks improved to 10-2 overall and to 4-2 in the Peach Belt, while the Bobcats fell to 9-5 and 4-2. GCSU wraps up its three-game road swing with a 3:30 p.m. contest against the University of South Carolina - Aiken Saturday (Jan. 10) in Aiken, South Carolina.

Khalil Green led GCSU with 12 points, while C.J. Jones added 11 more. Luke Krawczyk pulled down six rebounds, while Green added six assists.

GCSU trailed by nine points (39-30) at the half, but the Bobcats couldn't mount a comeback as they just shot 23.5 percent (8-of-34) from the floor over the game's final 20 minutes.
