HARTSVILLE. S.C. | Georgia College & State University claimed a 6-1 non-conference women's tennis decision over Coker University Tuesday (Feb. 12) afternnoon at. the Coker Tennis Courts.
The Bobcats improved to 3-1, while the Cobras slithered to a 1-2 mark. GCSU will travel to Columbus, Georgia, Sunday (Feb. 15) for a 2 p.m. neutral-site match against the University of Montevallo.
GCSU claimed wins at No. 1 and 2 doubles to take an early 1-0 lead. The Bobcats put the match away by winning five of the singles matches.

Victoria Conde Vendrell,
Laura Almagro and
Alisa Chiang all won in straight sets, including Almagro who didn't drop an entire game in her victory.
Natalie Kirka earned her win at No. 4 singles in three sets (6-3, 3-6, 6-2).
