MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. | No. 15 Flagler College defeated Georgia College & State University 7-0 in a Peach Belt Conference women's tennis match Friday (April 10) morning at the Centennial Center Tennis Courts.
The Saints improved to 10-7 overall and to 3-0 in the PBC, while the Bobcats slipped to 8-9 and 1-3. GCSU returns to action Saturday (April 12) with a 1 p.m. home league match against Georgia Southwestern State University.
Flagler earned the doubles point, but it wasn't easy.

Victoria Conde Vendrell teamed up to win 6-4 at No. 1, before the Saints pulled out the win at No. 3
Alisa Chiang and
Lucy Kim in a 7-5 tiebreak.
Natalie Kirka narrowly lost in back-to-back tiebreakers (7-6 (5), 7-6 (3)) at No. 3 singles, while
Laura Almagro went to three sets (3-6, 6-4, 0-1 (5)) at No. 4.
