MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. | Isabella "Izzy" Sause, a member of the Georgia College & State University women's soccer team, passed away Sunday, August 30, 2026, after a brave and courageous journey. Izzy was a 19-year-old sophomore from Loganville, Georgia, majoring in pre-Nursing.

"Izzy was always a beaming light of positivity and saw the best in any situation," said GCSU women's soccer head coach Jack Marchant. "She was and always will be an integral part of our group, and we know she will always be a Bobcat and be with us."
 
This is a heartbreaking loss, and our thoughts are with Izzy's family, teammates, friends and classmates.
 
A memorial service will take place at 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 18, at Graystone Church, located at 1551 Ozora Road, Loganville, Georgia 30052.  Members of the campus and surrounding community are welcome to attend.
