MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga.
- Getting three singles victories and a pair of
doubles wins, the Georgia College & State University men's
tennis team picked up its fifth straight win today (March 8),
beating Anderson University 5-4 at the Centennial Center Tennis
Facility.
The first and third doubles squads got the Bobcats off on the
right foot, as seniors Erick Siqueira
(Sao Paulo,
Brazil) and Justin Pickham
(Armidale,
Australia) teamed for the
first-slot win, as juniors Giovane Nucci
(Santa Catarina,
Brazil) and Max Beliankou
(Minsk,
Belarus) won the third doubles
battle.
Senior Francis Yoshimoto
(Sao Paulo,
Brazil) got a win at third
singles, aided by Beliankou's victory at fourth singles. Nucci also
was a double-victor today, winning at fifth singles.
The Bobcats are back in action Wednesday, March 11 hosting
Concord College at 3 p.m.
