ATLANTA - The Georgia College & State
University women's tennis team (1-0) swept Clark Atlanta University
9-0 in both teams' season-opener today (Feb. 7). With only four
players, the Lady Panthers forfeited three contests.
In the No.1 doubles spot, the veteran French duo of Diane Danna
(Paris, France) and Bertille Lion (Lyon,
France) won 8-3, while freshmen Kayla Barksdale
(Martinez, Ga.) and Michelle Lingner
(Dunwoody, Ga.) took second doubles 8-0. Adriana Acuna
(Peachtree City, Ga.) and Linda Mosa (Stockholm,
