by Brian DeCandia, sports information graduate assistant

ATLANTA The No. 12 Georgia College men's tennis team (1-0) dominated the Morehouse College Tigers (0-1) Saturday, 9-0.

Jerome Leborgne (Coordimanche, France) and Johan Wadstein (Helsingborg, Sweden) teamed up in first doubles and beat Michael Cutresis and Michael Thomas, 8-1. Leo Bernardes (Sao Paulo, Brazil) and Tyler Franks (Greensboro, Ga.) defeated Tory Martin and Jordan Bailey, 8-4. That is the closest Morehouse would come to a victory all afternoon as Robert Angelucci (Acworth, Ga.) and Tobias Rausch (Mannheim, Germany) toppled Khia Hall and Noah Terry, 8-0.

National No. 16 in singles, Leborgne played at number one and defeated Martin 6-1, 6-1. Bernardes downed Morehouse's Mario Ecung 6-0, 6-1.

The Bobcats next seven sets would consist of shutouts. Wadstein shutout Cutresis 6-0, 6-0 and Rausch answered the bell toppling Dewayne Dixon 6-0, 6-0. Franks shut-out Thomas in straight sets 6-0, 6-0. The last match of the day was Wictor Andersson (Karlskoga, Sweden). He put a stop to the Tiger's James Presley 6-0, 6-1.

The Bobcats travel to Peach Belt Conference opponent No. 25 USC Aiken Friday, Feb. 11 for a 2 p.m. start.
