Box Score

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – It was a night to remember for senior forward Enisha Donley (Loganville), as she recorded her first career double-double to help the Georgia College women's basketball team (10-9, 6-6 PBC) defeat the Francis Marion University Patriots (6-15, 3-9 PBC), 76-70.

Donley recorded 14 points and 10 rebounds on the night, recording her first career double-double in her four years for the Bobcats. Donley had more than a little assistance from senior guard Shanteona Keys (Roswell), who led Georgia College with 28 points, keeping her hot shooting streak alive. She shot 6-of-12 from beyond the three-point line and shot 50 percent (8-16) from the field. Keys has averaged 29 points over the last three games. The third Bobcat in double figures for the night was LaRice Walker (Franklin), adding 15 points and four rebounds for the contest.

The Patriots were held to 38 percent (24-63) from the floor for the game and 9-of-23 from beyond the arc. Leading Francis Marion was Briana Burgins, who ended the night with 13 points and eight rebounds. The Patriots had Mariah Johnson and Khayani Chandler add 10 points each for the night, tying them with the second-most for the team. Francis Marion did edge the Bobcats in the turnover battle, taking away 12 to Georgia College's 18.

The career night for Donley continued, as she moved into the number seven slot in Georgia College history with 1,189 points, passing Tracy Davis at 1,183. Donley has recorded 62 double-digit performances in her career, with her career high coming earlier this season at North Georgia, scoring 28 points.

The Bobcats will host GRU Augusta, Wednesday, Feb. 4, at the Centennial Center. Georgia College will look to keep their three-game winning streak alive with tip-off at 5:30 p.m.
