Bobcat Soccer Drops 1-0 Match at Tusculum

GREENEVILLE, Tenn. – The Georgia College soccer team (6-5-2) fell in non-conference action Wednesday night at Tusculum College (7-5-1), 1-0.

In an evenly-matched affair, the teams reached halftime in a scoreless tie. The Bobcats trailed the Pioneers 5-4 in shot attempts, but half of the Bobcat tries were on target.

Just 58 seconds into the second half, Tusculum's Taylor Lewis found the back of the net for her seventh goal of the season.

The Bobcats were able to get off six shots in the second half, but couldn't find the equalizer.

Junior Haley Tidwell (Macon, Georgia) led the team in shot attempts for the match with three. Bobcat goalkeeper Ashlee Graham (Decatur, Georgia) made four saves in the loss.

The Bobcats are back in action Saturday, Oct. 17 at 3 p.m., playing host to Armstrong State University.
