MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – No. 11 Georgia College Men's Tennis (1-0) added on to the success of the Bobcat ladies from Friday's blow-out with a blow-out of their own, finishing off the Morehouse College Tigers (0-1) with a relatively easy 9-0 day.

Vincent Castermans (Grenoble, France) and Pedro Ecenarro (Santiago de Compostela, Spain) got the first match win of the day for the Bobcats. Their 8-2 doubles win over Morehouse's two line put Georgia College up 1-0 to start the afternoon. Kyle Kinsler (Suwanee) and Mattia Campus (Concorezzo, Italy) paired together to defeat the Meghoo-Peddie brothers 8-0 for the second doubles victory, and the German duo, Jannik Kumbier (Neumünster, Germany) and Christian Graff (Lohmar, Germany) finished shortly after with an 8-2 win over Everette Reese and Justin Samples.

Going into singles, the Bobcat hosts were up 3-0, only needing two more match wins to take the day. In the fifth spot, Anton Waern (Taby, Sweden) took the courts the first time for his senior season and made quick work of his Tiger opponent, winning his match 6-0, 6-0. On the first line, Graff clinched the team win with his own win, 6-1, 6-2.

The four Bobcats left on the courts also quickly secured their game wins. Campus finished in the fourth line next with a 6-0, 6-1 putout, followed by freshman Nathan Connelly (McDonough) in the sixth, who had an impressive first match in a Bobcat uniform, defeating his opponent 6-0, 6-0. Ecenarro and Castermans were the last two to finish. Ecenarro topped Justin Samples in a 6-1, 6-0  two-line match, while Castermans knocked out Rasheed Slade in the third spot, 6-2, 6-2.

The Bobcats host both the men's and women's tennis team of Valdosta State University next Sunday, Feb. 12 at 1 p.m.
