#11 GC Men's Tennis Dominates Concord, 9-0

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – No. 11 Georgia College Men's Tennis (7-3) completely shut down the visiting Concord University Mountain Lions 9-0 Wednesday during the Bobcats' Make-A-Wish celebration day at the Centennial Center Tennis Facility. Georgia College surrendered just six games in the win.

The Bobcats swept the Mountain Lions first in doubles, marking down three straight 8-0 wins. In the No. 1 spot, Christian Graff (Lohmar, Germany) and Kyle Kinsler (Suwanee) shut down Javier Lietor and Stan Cohen as Pedro Ecenarro (Santiago de Compostela, Spain) and Mattia Campus (Concorrezzo, Italy) took down Alfonso Jimenez and Adam Tolliver in the second flight. Rounding out the lineup in the third line, Anton Waern (Taby, Sweden) and Vincent Castermans (Grenoble, France) got the third team win against Daniel Rose and William Dick.

Graff beat Jimenez on court one with an easy 6-1, 6-2 match. Waern got his win in the second spot against Lietor 6-0, 6-1, and Ecenarro brought in the sixth team point with his win over Cohen 6-0, 6-0.

Kinsler used a pair of 6-0 sets to top Tolliver, while Rose fell to Campus 6-0, 6-2. Finally, Nathan Connelly (McDonough) secured the full sweep for the Bobcats after beating Dick 6-0, 6-0.

The Bobcats are ready for some warmer weather as they travel to Pensacola, Florida, next week. Their first opponent is No. 15 Midwestern State University Saturday, March 18 at 11 a.m.
