AUGUSTA, Ga. – The No. 14 Georgia College Men's Tennis team (8-7, 3-4) fell to the Augusta University Jaguars (7-8, 1-7 PBC), 6-3, in a weather make-up game Tuesday.

The Bobcats took the early 2-1 lead after doubles. Christian Graff (Lohmar, Germany) and Kyle Kinsler (Suwanee) downed Patrick Oliveira and Gabriel Dos Santos 8-5 in the No. 1 doubles spot. Pedro Ecenarro (Santiago de Compostela, Spain) and Mattia Campus (Concorezzo, Italy) got the second GC point, topping Augusta's second doubles line of Gaspard Mathieu and Arthur Andrade 8-6.

Like the ladies, the Bobcat men almost had a doubles sweep but fell in a third spot tiebreaker. Anton Waern (Taby, Sweden) and Nathan Connelly (McDonough) fell to Joao Ferreira and Gabriel Pansera 9-7.

Ecenarro was the only undefeated Bobcat of the day, beating Ferreira in the second spot 6-2 and 3-1. The junior has had a very successful season thus far, losing only three singles matches for a 12-3 record overall.

Waern lost to Andrade 7-6, 6-3 while Augusta's Mathieu topped Campus with a pair of 6-0 fourth-flight frames. Kinsler fell to Dos Santos 6-2, 6-4 in the fifth spot, and the Jags' Panswera downed Connelly 6-0, 6-3 in the sixth line. No. 36 Graff finished the action in Augusta as he fell to Oliveira in a first flight tiebreaker 4-6, 7-6, 10-8.

The Bobcats head to Francis Marion University Friday, March 31 for another Peach Belt Conference (PBC) match. First serve is scheduled for 2 p.m.
