DAHLONEGA, Ga. – The Georgia College Women's Basketball team (0-4) couldn't find the firepower to combat the University of West Florida (3-1) Saturday, falling 67-53 to close out the Nighthawk Classic, hosted by the University of North Georgia.

UWF's Halee Nieman poured in 32 points, hitting 12-for-18 from the field to power the Argonauts to the win.

The Bobcats got points from eight different players, but not enough to overcome Nieman's heroics. Senior Jasmine McSwain (Marietta) led the way with 12, her second-straight effort of double-digit scoring.

Classmate Erin Drynan (Chicago, Illinois) added 10 points with a pair of blocks and a team-best five rebounds. One clear highlight was the Bobcat bench, out-scoring UWF's 19-0. Freshman Harper Vick (Marietta) led the reserves with nine points.

The Bobcats caused 24 turnovers while coughing it up just 14 times, but the Argonauts' massive 52-24 rebounding advantage helped UWF even out the extra possessions.

The Bobcats are back in action Tuesday, Nov. 20 at 5:30 p.m., traveling to Albany State University.
